petit malison COMPLETE

Baby Maliceson.. IS FINALLY COMPLETE!!! I think she turned out beyond sweet >_Q.. I think despite this being my second (finished) doll, I improved a LOT when it comes to 3D facial depth ^p^ 

she is a emo/scene child who doubles as a witch (meant to be a friend of my vampire child oc Raison).. 

my favorite eyes are the brown and blue!! I used justin stickers for one of the chips..!! I want to use more miniSUPER stickers for diy :-D I am also pleased with her eyelid painting YAY

already plotting my next project.. really want to be more consistent with working on them 

using resin, I made cute little locket keychains.. ^p^ SMFJ and Maliceson herself

while I consider her to be a great success, I was taught a lesson about how finicky Mr. Super Clear is......... customizing dolls in mid-summer is a curing fail, east coast humidity xDDD Unavoidable.. 

 

general critique to self : 

•   carve even more depth even tho it's risky lol.... specifically around eyelid/labial fold
  
  
•  careful with shading with too-desaturated/gray of colors for skin hmmmm..... 
  
  
•  spray mr. super clear while holding plate directly in front of you instead of from above/downward so it lays evenly 
  
  
•  be aware of accidentally carving a hole into the faceplate.. had to airbrush her because of this LMFAO

 
thank god for epoxy.. Saving my tail every tim..e.... o(-< I use "fixit sculpt" specifically!

I kept sitting her on my desk every evening to glance at and figure out what might be off with her face LOL

her red cheeks got a little lost..

I think in a few months time, I can retouch her blushies when it's closer to fall!! 

I'm happy she looks good next to cottontail's popcorn ^ 3 ^ 

I had purchased a different wig for her initial design, but the quality of it ended up being cheap-looking .. wut shall I do with it now I wonder.. 

always luv fooling around with leftover acrylic in my airbrush .. Hampters

think I will feature SMFJ on faceplates from now on :-) *lazy*

unrelated exciting news, but my friend Justin and Claire interviewed me! ^o^ very fun and revamped some old stickers~ I am so excited for future interviews LOL I love learning about artists personal interests..
